ilkay Turk
President & Director of Fashion Education and Community Partnerships
Ilkay Turk serves as President of the Turk & Turk Fashion Institute Foundation, leading the organization’s educational programs, community initiatives, and strategic partnerships. With expertise in sewing, garment construction, and the fashion creation process, Ilkay helps guide students from concept development to finished garments while building relationships with sponsors, supporters, and community partners to expand opportunities for emerging designers.
Rasit Turk
Vice President & Director of Fashion Education
Rasit Turk serves as Vice President of the Turk & Turk Fashion Institute Foundation and leads fashion education initiatives, including fashion illustration and creative skills development. With a passion for nurturing emerging talent, Rasit mentors students in developing their artistic vision, technical abilities, and understanding of the fashion design process. He helps guide students from concept development and illustration through garment construction, transforming creative ideas into finished garments.
Roger Weatherburn-Baker
Board Advisor – Strategic Communications, Community Engagement & Philanthropic PartnershipsÂ
Roger Weatherburn-Baker serves as Board Advisor for Strategic Communications, Community Engagement, and Philanthropic Partnerships at the Turk & Turk Fashion Institute Foundation. With extensive experience in communications, strategic development, and community leadership, Roger supports the foundation’s growth by building relationships, expanding outreach, and connecting with partners who share its mission.
Through his commitment to cultural initiatives and philanthropy, Roger helps strengthen the foundation’s vision of creating opportunities and empowering the next generation of fashion creators.
